We don't just check a box. We build multi-year relationships with farm partners and revisit annually to verify standards are maintained — and improved.
Every order shipped through Healthy-E is fully carbon-offset. We calculate the emissions of each shipment based on weight, distance, and carrier mode, then purchase verified carbon credits from reforestation and renewable energy projects.
We chose not to pass this cost to you. It's built into our pricing because we believe it's the right thing to do — not an optional add-on.
92% of our packaging materials are home-compostable or curbside-recyclable. Our mailer bags are made from plant starch, our tissue paper is FSC-certified, and our tape is water-activated kraft paper — zero plastic in the box.
We're working toward 100% plastic-free packaging by end of 2026. The remaining 8% is limited to items that require food-grade barrier protection, for which we are actively evaluating compostable alternatives.
